The Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra is pleased to present the 7th International Academy of Orchestra Conducting – Estoril 2026, a program of excellence designed for emerging conductors seeking to deepen their technical command and interpretive insight under the guidance of distinguished pedagogues, in close collaboration with a professional orchestra.

Taking place July 19–25, 2026, at the Cascais Conservatory of Music, the Academy offers participants intensive work on a carefully curated repertoire that demands a refined balance of technical precision, stylistic awareness, and expressive leadership. The program culminates in the International Conducting Competition, during which selected finalists will demonstrate their artistic and technical mastery by leading the orchestra in an official public concert. The competition winner will be invited to return in the following season as a guest conductor of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra.
