Ana Elisa Ribeiro was born in Lisbon, in 1978. She began her musical studies with her father, continuing her training at the Academia de Música de Sta. Cecília, finishing 8th grade with Prof. Vasco Broco. Here she participated in several auditions, both solo and in ensemble music.
She participated in violin masterclasses with professors Gerardo Ribeiro, Yfrah Neaman and Gareguin Aroutiounian, and also participated in several Chamber Music and Orchestra courses.
In 2001, she was invited by the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa to participate in an internship at the Erasmus Chamber Orchestra, which took place in Utrecht, Netherlands, under the direction of Prof. Charles-André Linale.
In 2001, she finished her degree in violin at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, in the class of Prof. Alexandra Mendes and in the discipline of Chamber Music in the class of Prof. Clélia Vital.
Currently, she is an effective member of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Nikolay Lalov, and is a professor at the Cascais Music Conservatory.
