Auditions

THE ORQUESTRA DE CÂMARA DE CASCAIS E OEIRAS will hold public auditions on September 21 and 22 for the following positions:

Strings
Violin – reinforcement position
Viola – reinforcement position
Double bass – reinforcement position
Winds
Oboe – permanent position
Bassoon – permanent position

Candidates must submit their application, indicating the works to be performed, along with a CV by September 13 to the e-mail address: orquestra@occo.pt
Repertoire:
1. Classical concerto (first movement with cadenza)
2. A concert piece or movement of contrasting and virtuosic character
3. Three orchestral excerpts of the candidate’s choice
4. Sight-reading

The auditions will take place at OCCO’s HEADQUARTERS, Avenida das Acácias 81, Monte Estoril, starting at 9:30 AM.
The final audition schedule will be sent by e-mail the day after the application deadline.
OCCO does not provide an accompanying pianist during the audition.
