Admission Test for the Cascais Youth Orchestra 2024
In the year that Cascais was the Youth Capital (2018), the Cascais Music Conservatory, in partnership with the Cascais City Council and the Frei Gonçalo de Azevedo School, started a major project:
CASCAIS YOUTH ORCHESTRA
This orchestra aims to allow all young people who live in Cascais or study in the municipality to start an adventure that can change their lives. Playing in a great orchestra with the possibility of performing some of the most emblematic works of musical heritage, comes the possibility of traveling, making friends and sharing moments with nationally and internationally renowned professional musicians.
If you are 14 years old or over, have talent and know how to play an orchestral instrument, this is the ideal time to apply!
Auditions
Sign up now for the auditions taking place on April 13th, at 10am!
You must present two contrasting pieces, or a piece and a study. 5th grade level or higher.
The tests will take place at the Cascais Music Conservatory.
