Tiago Miguel de Carvalho Vicente was born in Lisbon in 1983. He began his musical studies at the age of 6. At the age of 14, Tiago Vicente went to study at the National Conservatory’s School of Music, where he continued his guitar studies with Professor Carlos Alberto Ramos Lopes. During that time he performed a work of merit and strongly recognized by the remaining teachers of the same instrument.
In 2002, he joined the Higher Guitar Course at the Piaget Institute where he had the pleasure of studying with Professor Dejan Ivanovich. At this University he was a member of several chamber music groups managed by prof. Filipe Pinto Ribeiro and Vasco Gouveia. He is currently attending a master’s degree in guitar interpretation at the University of Évora with the same teacher. During his study, he has given concerts and recitals solo or together with orchestra and various chamber music groups in the most prestigious venues in the country.
Simultaneously with his studies, he participated in several guitar master classes with Carlo Marchionne, Marco Socias, Costas Cotsiolis, Darko Petrinjak, Joaquín Clerch, Michalis Kontaxakis, Jorge Luís Garcell, Serafín Arriaza.
