His career in music began at the Nossa Senhora do Cabo Music School in Linda-a-Velha, where
he finished the eighth grade in 1998. Since 1995 he already worked in teaching schools on free regime, at the cultural center of Algés, where he had the opportunity to start working with children, especially at the initiation level. In 2007, he joined the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa in the
degree in music, instrument variant, where he studied with Professor António Jorge Gonçalves.
Later, he began his journey as a teacher in schools of artistic education specialised in 2008, when he was invited to teach at the Caldas da Rainha Conservatory. He completed his degree at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa in 2011, and is currently attending the Master in Music Teaching,
at ISEIT (Piaget Institute – Almada). In addition to teaching at the Caldas da Rainha Conservatory, he is also professor at the Cascais Conservatory on a free basis. He attended the following Masterclasses: Masterclass with the Lisbon Film Orchestra from April 9 to 13, 2017 in Valada, as a Guitar player; III Guitar International Festival Guimarães with Costas Cotsiolis and Robert Trent; Masterclass with Rui Mourinho on the 27th of February at the Conservatório de Música de Olhão.
