He began his musical studies on the trumpet at the Sociedade Filarmónica Incrível Almadense at the age of 13. At the age of 16, he entered the Professional Music course at the National Conservatory of Lisbon, with Daniel Louro as professor and having completed the course with an average of 19 points. He completed a degree in trumpet at the Superior School of Applied Arts in Castelo Branco, in the class of Professor António Quitalo, with an average of 18 out of 20.
Throughout his training, he participated in various orchestral internships, highlighting that of the Official Orchestra of the Conservatories of Music, the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra, Internship of the City of Gouveia Symphony Orchestra, National Internship of Portel Wind Orchestra, Internship of INATEL Wind Orchestra, among others.

He worked with several conductors, such as Rui Pinheiro, Osvaldo Ferreira, José Eduardo Gomes, Luís Carvalho, Luís Clemente, Francisco Sequeira, David Correia, Carlos Silva, Fernando Marinho, Cesário Costa, Jean Sebástien Berrau, Roberto Samglibeni, Délio Gonçalves, Rafael Agulhó Albors , Nikolay Sevastianov Lalov, Quentin Hindley, Pablo Heras-Casado among others.
In 2012 he was awarded the 1st Prize in the International Competition “Terras de La Sallete” (Oliveira de Azeméis ) in the junior category, and still in the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 he was consecutively selected as reserve trumpeter for the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchestra (Vienna , Austria), as well as the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (Aix-en-Provence, France). Also in 2015, in the 29th edition of the Young Musicians Award broadcast by Antena 2 and RTP 2, he was awarded 2nd place and, in 2016, he was selected as reserve trumpeter for the Orquestra Gulbenkian 2016 Internship. selected as an effective musician for the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, working with conductors Quentin Hindley and Pablo Heras-Casado.
He is frequently invited to teach as trumpet and brass section coordinator in various stages of Orchestra de Sopros and Orchestra Sinfónica. He currently teaches at the Sociedade Filarmónica Incredible Almadense and at the Cascais Music Conservatory.
He was invited as first trumpet by the Atlantic Coast International Orchestra and guest trumpeter by the Grupo de Música Contemporânea de Lisboa. In July 2016 he was selected in first place, through the public competition, to collaborate with the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra and also with the Cascais Symphony Orchestra, with which he has collaborated since that date.
