A native of Spain, he began studying viola at the age of seven. His solid academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree from the Prins Claus Conservatorium (The Netherlands), where he studied with Ervin Schiffer, and a Master’s degree in Performance from the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels, in the class of Paul de Clerck.
While in Brussels, he founded the renowned Nostos Quartet, with which he earned a Master’s degree in Chamber Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the NSKA. His artistic development has been enriched by masterclasses with figures such as Maxim Rysanov, Máté Szücs, and members of the Quatuor Ysaye. As a chamber musician, he has performed in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at internationally acclaimed festivals.
He has frequently collaborated with distinguished orchestras, including JONDE, the Valencia Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, and the Gulbenkian Orchestra. He is currently a member of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra.
