Born in Sofia, she began studying cello at the age of seven at the Sofia Professional School of Music, under the guidance of Professor Todor Baharov.
In 1982, she won 2nd prize at the National Competition “Svetoslav Obretenov” for children up to 12 years old, and in 1986, she received 1st prize at the National Chamber Music Competition. She made her solo debut in 1988, performing with several orchestras, and in 1989, she was awarded 1st prize at the “Young Talents” Competition in Kyustendil.
She has recorded for Bulgarian National Radio and Television and has attended international cello courses in Italy and the United States. She also participated in masterclasses with Janos Starker and, later in Portugal, with Márcio Carneiro.
From 1990 to 1995, she pursued advanced cello studies at the National Academy of Music in Sofia. After completing her training, she settled in Portugal with her family. Since 1996, she has been a member of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra.
In 1998, she began teaching at the Évora Professional School of Music as a cello and chamber music teacher.
She is currently principal cellist and a permanent member of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Nikolay Lalov, and cello teacher at the Cascais Conservatory of Music.
