Born in Lisbon in 1977, she began her musical studies at the age of six with her father and later entered the Santa Cecília Academy of Music.
She continued her training with Professor Luís Sá Pessoa, completing the Advanced Course in Cello, and was a scholarship holder of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She earned her degree from the Lisbon College of Music.
She has collaborated with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, the Braga Chamber Orchestra, and the Algarve Classical Orchestra, and she regularly performs with the Lisbon Sinfonietta Orchestra.
She is a permanent member of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra and a cello teacher at the Cascais Conservatory of Music.
