From Sintra, she began her musical studies at the age of 15 at the Sociedade Filarmónica e Recreativa de Pêro Pinheiro.
She studied at the Escola Artística e Música do Conservatório Nacional with professor Bruno Graça.
She attended several masterclasses with important clarinetists, such as: João Aires, Florent Hèau, Karl Leister, Pascal Moraguès, Chi-Yu Mo, Iva Barbosa, António Saiote, Nuno Pinto, Nicholas Cox, Cristopher Sundqvist, Davide Lattuada, Leon Bosch, Jan Cober, Harmen de Boer, Hans Colbers, Bart de Kater, Willem de Vuurst, Arno Piters.
She had the opportunity to work with renowned conductors, such as: João Aires, Gianandrea Noseda, Daniele Gatti, Alberto Roque, Jean Sébastien Béreau, Jacomo Rafael Bairos, Steven Davis, Félix Hauswirth, Joana Carneiro, Francesco Pasqualetti, Ed Spanjaard, Bas Pollard, Ulf Wadenbrandt.
In 2010 she was selected for the OJ.COM and in July of the same year, she was awarded 3rd place in the General Category of the “Anatólio Falé” International Competition in the city of Lagos.
She was a member of the Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil in the 2011/2012 academic year. She is a member of Trio Púrpura (violin, clarinet and piano) formed at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa in 2013. That same year they were awarded with a third prize in the Junior Category of the Alcobaça International Chamber Music Competition and were selected by ESML to be the representative group at the “Harmos Classical” Chamber Music Festival.
In 2013, she was selected to join the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra as Principal Clarinet, in France.
In July 2014 she participated in the symphony orchestra internship “Les Musicales de Grillon”, as Principal Clarinet, in France.
In 2015 she was on the reserve list for an internship with Sir Simon Rattle from the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra.
She has collaborated with orchestras, including: Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil, Nova Ópera de Lisboa, Orquestra de Jovens do Mediterrâneo, Orquestra Estágio Gulbenkian, Bach Choir and Orchestra of The Netherlands, Phillarmonic Fridays (Amsterdão), Orquestra de Câmara de Cascais and Oeiras, Orquestra Pop Portuguesa.
In 2016, she was a finalist in the auditions for the European Union Youth Orchestra.
That same year, she was selected to join the Master degree in Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with professor Arno Piters (Clarinetist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam).
In 2017, she was the professor of the clarinet section at the internship “Lira Açoriana”, under the artistic direction of maestro Alberto Roque.
She was selected for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (EGO) Orchestra Internship, as bass clarinet, held in 2017.
In 2017 she was on the reserve list of the NJO Orchestra, in the Netherlands.
She was the professor of the clarinet section in 2018, in the band internship in Sintra, under the artistic direction of João Aires.
In 2018 and 2019, she was part of the opera production of the Bach Choir and Orchestra of The Netherlands.
She received a scholarship from the GDA Foundation, Portugal, during the 2017/2018 academic year.
In 2019, she was on the Gustav Mahler Academy reserve list.
In June 2019, she completed her Master degree in Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with the magnificent professor Arno Piters.
In December 2019, she represented Portugal with the Wind Orchestra of the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, as Principal Clarinet, on a tour to Chicago, Illinois, USA, at one of the largest band conferences in the world, “Midwest Clinic, International Band and Orchestra Conference”, with the artistic direction of maestro Alberto Roque.
In 2022 and 2023, she was the professor of the clarinet section at the “Filarmonias” orchestra internship, in Ansião, under the artistic direction of Élio Anes Leal.
She is a member of the Wind Quintet “Humorictus Ensemble”, the Violin and Clarinet Duo “Noria Duo” and the Clown Fanfare “Fanfarrolas”.
She is currently a clarinet teacher and Department Coordinator at the Conservatório Regional Silva Marques, a clarinet teacher at the Conservatório de Música e Dança de Cascais and a clarinet teacher at Escola de Música Crescendo. She’s part of the team of Bolinha de Música Project.
