THE CASCAIS AND OEIRAS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA will hold public auditions on September 21 and 22<\/strong> for the following positions:<\/p>\n

Strings<\/strong>
\nViolin \u2013 reinforcement position
\nViola \u2013 reinforcement position
\nDouble bass \u2013 reinforcement position<\/p>\n

Winds<\/strong>
\nOboe \u2013 permanent position
\nBassoon \u2013 permanent position<\/p>\n

Candidates should send their application, indicating the pieces to be performed, along with a CV, by September 13<\/strong> to the following email address: orquestra@occo.pt<\/strong><\/p>\n

Repertoire:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Classical concerto (first movement with cadenza)
\n2. A piece or concerto movement of contrasting and virtuosic character
\n3. Three orchestral excerpts of the candidate’s choice
\n4. Sight-reading<\/p>\n

The auditions will take place at OCCO’s HEADQUARTERS, Avenida das Ac\u00e1cias 81, Monte Estoril, starting at 9:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final audition schedule will be sent by email the day after the application deadline.<\/p>\n

OCCO does not provide an accompanying pianist during the audition.<\/p>\n
