Born in Viana do Castelo, she began his musical studies at the age of twelve at the Professional School of Music in Viana do Castelo, having studied viola d’arco with Rafael Cutiño. Later, she completed her degree and master’s degree at the Superior School of Music in Lisbon in the class of Professor Pedro Muñoz.
As a violist she has collaborated with several Portuguese orchestras, such as the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, among others.
She develops pedagogical activity at the National Conservatory’s Escola Artistica de Música.
