Gergana was born on August 26th 1980 in Sofia, Bulgaria and started studying the violin at the age of five.
In 1999, she graduated from the National School of Music Liubomir Pipkov, in Sofia, with professor Julia Anguelova.
In 2003, Gergana ended her Bachelor degree in the National Academy of Music in Prof. Ginka Gichkova’s violin class and Prof. Dimitar Kozev’s chamber music class.
Whilst studying, she plays as a soloist in many Bulgarian orchestras and participated in many master-classes of violin of several professors, such as Prof. Neaman, Prof. Frishenshlager, Prof. Kisš, Prof. Minchev and other.
Gergana was a concertmaster at the New Symphony Orchestra, in Bulgaria and “Junge Europa Philharmony”, in Germany.
Between 2003 and 2005 Gergana was a trainer at the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra (OCCO). Since September 2005, she is a resident musician of OCCO.
