Cascais Youth Orchestra Auditions 2023
The year that Cascais was the Youth Capital (2018), the Cascais Music Conservatory, in partnership with the Cascais City Council and the Frei Gonçalo de Azevedo School, started a major project:
YOUTH ORCHESTRA OF CASCAIS
This orchestra aims to allow all young people living in Cascais or studying in the county, to start an adventure that can change their lives. Playing in a large orchestra with the possibility of performing some of the most emblematic works of musical heritage, there is the possibility to travel, make friends and share moments with professional musicians of national and international renown.
If you are 14 years old or older, have talent and know how to play an orchestral instrument, this is the ideal time to apply!
Auditions
Auditions Sign up now for the auditions taking place on September 30th at 10 am!
You must present two contrasting pieces, or a piece and a study. Level 5 or higher.
The competitions will take place at the Cascais Music Conservatory.
